STANDARD SURCHARGES
- Variable Fuel including Waybill Handling Surcharge from 20%
- All rates quoted are exclusive of VAT
NON-STANDARD SURCHARGES
- Re-Delivery or Processing Fee with repeat Attendance on same/revised Delivery or Processing Address – R25
- Waiting Time after 20 minutes - R25 per 30 minutes
- Local Deliveries over 10 kg – From R3 for every 1 kg over 10 kg of consignment
- National and Outlying over 2 kg– From R 26 for every 1 kg over 2 kg of consignment
- Insurance – Optional Insurance at 2.75% of the insurance value, up to a minimum of R750.00 per consignment, subject to Insurer’s Contractual Terms and Conditions
- Special times at Consular Offices, Tenders, Government – Additional Fee
- National Overnight Services requested and collected on a Friday, will normally be delivered that Monday unless a special service is requested
- Credit Payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice for account holders only
- Special rates are offered upon large volumes and frequent deliveries – win with us!
- Standard Office hours from 08h00 to 17h15 Monday to Friday but by arrangement we offer after hours and weekend services - request quote
- Whilst every effort has been made to offer our clients the most competitive rates despite the fuel increases, the above rates and surcharges are subject to change without further notice
- We try our very best to deliver or collect within the scheduled timelines but cannot meet unreasonable expectations beyond our control
1. WEIGHT (ACTUAL VERSUS VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT)
Consignments are charged at the greater of either the Actual or Volumetric Weight in kg
- Volumetric weight is a spatial weight measured by volume rather than actual weight calculated in cm, by multiplying the length x width x height, divided by the volumetric factor of 5000, which is standard industry practise.
2. DOCUMENTS OR PARCELS
- Documents include reports, manuscripts, computer printouts, inter-office correspondence, other paper-based communications and unbound printed matter.
- Parcels are items that are not a document.
3. CONSIGNMENT
- Any batch of documents, parcels, goods or items being moved from one destination to another from a sender to a receiver.
